Kim and Scott had a beautiful elegant reception December 4th at Houston Station. I absolutely love her color scheme of champagne, mushroom, golds, bronzes, ivory, silver, and dark woody browns. She created all of the floral design herself and it looked amazing. The Christmas trees in the room added a light touch of the holidays without going overboard. For the menu they wanted unique Southwestern cuisine, think Bobby Flay’s Mesa Grill. Several of Kim’s close friends are opening a new bakery and created a variety of yummy treats for dessert- an array of mini cupcakes, cookies, and mini banana puddings. For the signature cocktail, Kim created these wonderful spiced fresh cranberries with hints of orange that were too die for!

Cocktail Hour Menu-

*Camarones Sante Fe- Gulf Shrimp skewered with crisp bacon and brushed with a sweet and savory garlic tangerine marmalade

*Asian Spoons filled with Mexican style ceviche- Red Snapper, shrimp, scallops, fresh lime, tomato concasse, cucumber, Serrano, and cilantro
*Chesapeake Mini Crab Cakes with Remoulade
*Assortment of Canapés-  Peach, Blue Cheese, & Bacon,  Artichoke Pesto, Sweet Tomato & Mozzarella, & Lemon Almond Chicken


Formal Dinner Buffet Menu-

*Texas Style Smoked Brisket sliced thinly. Served with yeast rolls, angel biscuits, and an array of house made sauces.
*Fire Roasted Green Chile Chicken- grilled chicken breast served in a light cream sauce that is infused with fire roasted green chilies, Mexican oregano, fresh parsley, and a hint of Queso Fresco cheese.

* Roast Potatoes with grilled peppers, onions, & Cotija cheese

*Elote(grilled corn off the cob with cilantro, Queso Fresco, and spices)

*Artichoke & Spinach Gratin

*Southwestern Chopped Salad- Romaine, red & black beans, corn, avocado, Roma tomatoes, diced cucumber, shaved purple onion, and Sharp Jack cheese. Crisp tortilla strips and red pepper spiced pecans served on the side. Dressings- Honey Chipotle, Salsa Ranch, & Tequila Lime Vinaigrette

The entire menu was delicious and it is always so much fun to create custom menus & dishes for your event. The Spinach & Artichoke Gratin is an amazing side dish that is a decadent option instead of a traditional side!
