We catered a beautiful reception at Two Rivers Mansion recently and I love this venue for so many reasons. It is very affordable, has so many options for indoor/outdoor receptions, lots of parking, needs very little decor, and Laura Carrillo is absolutely fabulous to work with! Our bride chose to have the reception inside and the wedding out in the beautiful grounds of the venue. The rooms flowed very well with the guest count of around 130 guests. Katie chose a light menu consisting of a fresh fruit/vegetable display, assortment of croissant sandwiches, Bourbon Brown Sugared meatballs, harvest vegetable dip, bacon cheddar dip, praline ham on angel biscuits, an Italian pasta salad, and a cheese display. Menus such as this are perfect for hot summer days as most people are not looking for a complete dinner or heavy items on the menu.

Katie also added a full ice cream sundae buffet that we accented with caramel marshmallows, coconut, cherries, toffee peanuts, a variety of sauces, crushed Oreo’s, and an array of candies.

We accented with silks in pistachio and taupeĀ  to coordinate with the eggplant linens.

Love the photos and congratulations to the happy couple, they were so fabulous to work with!
