This past Saturday we catered the Troutt reception at the beautiful Baber House in Gallatin. They wanted a traditional southern reception with a variety of hors d’ oeuvres that was light and refreshing for a hot summer day. The catering setup turned out splendid and I just couldn’t choose from all of the beautiful photos. Our staff did a fabulous job creating the display and the fresh summer fruits really made the table look lovely. For the menu they chose- Hot Spinach Artichoke Dip, Brown Sugar Bourbon Meatballs, fresh fruit display, tea sandwiches with cinnamon bread, apple butter, & peppered turkey, cocktail croissants, Bacon Cheddar dip, a refreshing Tuscan pasta salad, angel biscuits with praline ham, and our ever popular Southern fruit tea. Ligon wanted a menu that would appeal to everyone’s tastes and she made some great choices. This menu is great summer fare as it is not overly heavy and filling yet offers guests a variety of choices. Her favor table was a really cute candy display that matched the decor so perfectly. Even though we can create almost any type of cuisine, our talent really does shine at southern inspired events! Congratulations to the Troutts!
