Susie & Mitchell had a beautiful wedding and reception at the oh so southern Carnton Plantation in Franklin. This is the perfect venue for the bride wanting a true southern style wedding! The details were so fabulous and the day’s weather could not have been any better. Our staff created a sophisticated southern menu for the event and Susie
‘s family created homemade Apple Butter on their farm for the favors. This mid-afternoon reception included a Carolina Style Shrimp & Grits station, rosemary biscuits with country ham and orange marmalade, fried green tomatoes with remoulade, beef tenderloin on cream biscuits, brown sugared pecan chicken with blackberry Dijon, and farm fresh fruits/veggies.We integrated a lot of vintage silver, rustic French jars, and soft colors to create a beautiful display that fit the location/decor of the reception.
