This reception is still in the very early stages of planning, but here are some small details. The planner has ordered some large chandeliers for the tent and will be draping the room in black linens with back lighting. I am absolutely in love with the cake in the picture and cannot wait to see it. For the menu we are doing heavy hors d’ oeuvres with small plates of everything that would be on a dinner menu. The cocktail is a white lemonade martini and we are doing mini ice cream cones with exotic ice creams.  Some of the flavors we have created are Saffron & Persian Lime, Rose Petal, Basil & lemon, along with some others still in the works. The menu will have a lot of fresh seafood and Farmers market veggies. For favors the couple have ordered mini replicas of the large cake that are in tiny damask boxes. Love It! The photos on the board are from the bride and we are brainstorming to come up with flavors that she & her groom are most fond of. Hope you enjoy and next up is a Moroccan inspired event!
