One of our late summer brides is having a beautiful Asian inspired reception that is going to include cherry blossoms, light pinks, soft greens, natural bamboo, darker hardwoods, and some dark pink shades. They have ordered custom monogrammed mini take out boxes that we are filling with lobster & duck lo mein. The menu includes summer rolls, a huge variety of dim sum, traditional Korean bbq, hot & sour soup, and a lavish sushi display. We created a yummy lychee cocktail that is as eye appealing as it is tasty! The reception is being held outdoors and they are lighting with colorful lanterns in the wedding colors. There will also be large parasols, bonsai centerpieces and silver/gold fortune cookies for favors. I really love the little cake topper that is a traditional Chinese element. For entertainment, Geisha style dancers will be performing along with a large dragon dancing throughout the tent.
